“Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy, and celebration. The hummingbird’s delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life’s sweetest creation.”
This quote is from a slip of paper inside a Papyrus greeting card.

"Jacqui's Bird"

Oil on canvas panel, 6"x6". Not for sale.

My friend Jacqui asked me to paint her a little bird, and this was so much fun to paint. The whole time I was thinking about what she would like it to look like, and it turned out pretty well. There will be more birds to come.
