This is another take on a scene that I painted a few years ago. I took a bold approach with my brushstroke and colors. The red rocks of Sedona are so breathtaking, what a beautiful subject to try to capture.
This was a creamer dish that was my grandparents. I love that it's a little art deco, very 1950's. I believe its actually made of chrome because it's not tarnished at all, whatever is easier to take care of, right?
This is a painting that I did in 2011. I have been focusing more on the entire composition of the painting, instead of trying to get the subject right, and then hastily throwing a background in. So, I went back to this one and fixed the background that I had done. I think it's better, the original is below.
