Watercolor on Paper, 15"x11".I finally had a couple of days to paint whatever I wanted! I painted this off of a photo that DJ took when we visited the grand canyon a few months ago. I have been working in watercolor doing some paint elevations for the theatre world, so I decided to use watercolor instead of oils. Watercolors are pretty convenient, none of that pesky "drying time" that you deal with when using oils. The trickiest thing is that you can't cover something up if you don't like it.
