About this Painting: On our trip back through Montana on our move to Arizona DJ and I drove through a storm that had a life of it's own. The wheat was glowing and the sky was alive with contrasting blues and golds, it was beautiful. I tried painting on Masonite today, instead of canvas, and found that it is a great neutral color to paint on, however it is much harder to blend on than canvas, brush strokes become part of the texture.Media: Oil on Masonite
